Resolor belongs to a group of medicines that increase intestinal motility. Resolor acts on the muscle of the wall of the gut, and helps restore the normal functioning of the bowel. Resolor is intended for symptomatic treatment of chronic constipation in adults in whom previous treatment with laxatives failed. The medicine is not intended for use in children and adolescents below the age of 18.
